Overview

The Bachelor of Vocational Studies in Culinary Arts at DPMI is a degree to train an individual to become a skilled culinary professional who can meet the needs of kitchen & restaurants, and hotel services. The three-year program offers students the best of both theoretical knowledge and practical application to prepare them with all the professional and creative skills necessary to succeed in the fast-paced world of Food & Beverage Service. The students gain expertise in many areas including culinary techniques, international, regional and local cuisine, menu planning, food presentation, and kitchen management. A combination of Live Kitchen Practical Sessions, On-the-Job Training and Industry Projects supports the students in developing all the skills necessary for them to become competent chefs, in addition to the necessary operational management skills. Goal of the program and its instructors is to support students in developing creativity, precision and professionalism in order for them to become high-quality culinary professionals who are not only able to produce superior products, but also to manage their businesses in an efficient manner
