Community-Based Multispeciality Medical Camp

DPMI once again stood true to its commitment to community service by organizing a Free Health Checkup Camp on the occasion of World Health Day, 7th April 2025. The camp was conducted in collaboration with Indraprastha Apollo Hospital and Lions Eye Center, Delhi at DPMI, Delhi.

Renowned medical experts were invited to lead the health camp. Dr. Pooja Choudhary, Resident Doctor from Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, provided general health consultation. She conducted health check-ups, gave valuable advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and addressed various health concerns of the participants. Her expertise and friendly approach were highly appreciated by everyone present at the camp.

Along with general health check-ups, special attention was given to eye care. Dr. MD. Nadeem, Eye Specialist from Lions Eye Centre, Delhi, conducted detailed eye examinations. He educated the participants about the importance of regular eye check-ups, early detection of vision problems and methods to maintain eye health. Many students benefited from his expert guidance and consultation.

The event witnessed an impressive footfall, with over 310 patients availing the free medical health services. Their enthusiastic participation highlighted the importance of preventive health care among future healthcare professionals.

The initiative aimed to spread awareness about preventive healthcare and ensure timely medical support to those in need.
