DPMI observed World TB Day on March 24, 2025, under the theme “Yes! We Can End.
Dr. Priyanka Sharma, Consultant Microbiologist at Sarvodaya Hospital, Greater Noida, conducted an insightful session on TB, elaborating various #diagnostic approaches of TB detection and latest protocols of TB prevention. She highlighted the fact that Malnutrition acts as a major contributor in spread of latent TB. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A round, where students actively participated, gaining valuable #knowledge on Nikshay Poshan Yojna for TB patients.
